Summary: Includes original portraits of European
and Eastern Royalty; otherwise primarily

church and state, as well as artists, writers,
scientists, composers, explorers and
bicyclists. Includes an interesting series
made by Felix Nadar's son, Paul, of Nadar
interviewing Michel-Eugene Chevreul in 1886.
Note: Numerous photographs, primarily French,
including work by Disderi, Nadar, Petit,
Reutlinger and the Italian, Brogi.
