Summary: How the most peaceful Republic of Venice should be
governed both internally and externally so as to have
perpetual dominion, with which are considered the
interests of all the Princes herein described by
Public Commission. Contains historical information
dating to 884, papal bulls from various popes, and the
growth of the Church under the Italian princes.
Note: State Adviser for the Republic of Venice, Father Paolo
Servito addresses this "To most excellent gentlemen,
Inquisitors of the State."
