SomRev - Sommaires de Revues

SomRev is an online citation index produced by the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Lyon and its partners. It offers a searchable tables of contents of over 120 French academic journals, mostly in the social sciences - contemporary history, economics, political science, international relations... mostly from the mid-1990s until the present. If available, the citations link to the online content.

http://doc-iep.univ-lyon2.fr/Ressources/Bases/Somrev/s-interrogation.html

SomRev is one several online resources that are worth checking out, including "Dossiers de presse," containing article citations from 10 French newspapers since 2000, and FRIPES, a citation index of social science articles. To get to these, click on "Bases de donnees" from the SomRev site.

There is some overlap between SomRev, Persee (open access), and CAIRN (we have a subscription) - but offerings vary in comprehensiveness, and by dates and titles covered. So the same search on each database will turn up different results.
